Lena Nian

Biography

Lena Nian is a creative artist and photographer. She is also co-founder and co-producer of Fashion Weekend Gambia, the country's largest annual fashion event.

She lives and works in The Gambia, where she is from, but grew up in Sweden, where she studied fine art and photography before moving to London, where she did her Bachelor of Arts in advertising design and refined her photographic skills.

She focuses on portraits, whether through fashion photography, artist shoots or various projects. She strives always to capture the essence of the person she is photographing.
