Keeping your account secure

Your Art Kelen account holds your conversations, your enquiries, and — for artists — your sales and payout details. A few simple habits keep it safe.

Use a strong, unique password. Choose something you do not use on other sites, and the longer the better. A password manager makes this effortless and is well worth using.

Keep your email address current. Important messages — verification, password resets, enquiry notifications, and for artists, payout updates — all reach you by email. If your address changes, update it in your account settings so nothing is missed.

Know what a genuine message looks like. Art Kelen will never ask for your password by email, message, or phone. We will never ask you to move a conversation or a payment off the platform. If a message pressures you to act urgently, or asks for login details or payment outside Art Kelen, treat it with suspicion — it is not from us.

Keep transactions on the platform. When you buy or sell through Art Kelen, the protections described elsewhere in this Help Centre apply. A deal arranged privately, off-platform, carries none of them. If anyone — buyer, seller, or someone claiming to be staff — asks you to step outside Art Kelen to complete a transaction, decline, and tell us.

If you ever think something is wrong with your account, change your password and open a support conversation from your account straight away. We would always rather hear from you early.
